Jonathan Karl is the Chief Washington Correspondent for ABC News and co-anchor of “This Week.” A former president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, Karl has reported from the White House under four presidents and 14 press secretaries. He has covered every major beat in Washington, D.C., and has won several of the most prestigious awards in journalism. He is the author of three New York Times bestsellers: “Front Row at the Trump Show,” “Betrayal” and “Tired of Winning: Donald Trump and the End of the Grand Old Party.”  

He’ll offer his unique insights and observations on the year ahead in politics and the coming elections, capturing Capitol Hill and Washington politics as only he can. As America readies for what may prove to be a bitter election season, Karl will highlight the people, politics and issues that will capture the political spotlight this year and beyond.
